Dr. Reyes Retana was born and raised in Laredo, TX, where she graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1998. Dr. Reyes Retana then proceeded to St. Mary's University here in San Antonio and achieved her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2002. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated with her D.D.S. in 2006.

When Dr. Reyes Retana started Deerfield Dental she envisioned a relaxing environment where patients were treated like family.  Delivering an experience like no other, and giving the patient a place they could call "home". She realizes your experience begins the moment you pick up the phone, and understands that the entire team plays a critical role. Because of this, she believes in surrounding herself with a team that shares the same values and expectations. Dr. Reyes Retana welcomes all age groups, and offers a variety of dental services to meet your dental needs.  Being fluent in both English and Spanish is something that Dr. Reyes Retana considers important when serving this wonderful community of San Antonio.

                                             

On a personal note, Dr. Reyes Retana just got married on March 16, 2013 to the love of her life James Grant. She is grateful to have a wonderful husband and family that are very supportive. They have started a new journey together and look forward to all the adventures married life will bring. They also are happy to announce that they expecting their first baby in March 2014!
